Our Florida Fall Spice Blend (Make it at Home!)

By Lori, Writer and Editor (and wearer of many other hats) for Upward Spiral and the Atlantic Institute of Aromatherapy.

It’s finally October, one of my favorite months of the year. We’ve reached the fall equinox, the days are getting shorter … But it’s still hot and sunny here in Florida.

I’m originally from upstate New York, so fall foliage is one of the things I miss the most. I miss the colors, the smell of the leaves, and the crisp air. While we might not be able to experience that here, every little reminder of fall definitely helps.

Nyssa recently put together a thoroughly enjoyable blend for fall. A combination of Black Spruce, Nutmeg, and Sweet Orange, this blend ushers in the season and also has a little Florida character of its own.
